Support WEAU Members at WEFTEC!

WEAU Members,

If you are attending WEFTEC in New Orleans in a few short weeks, we encourage you to support your fellow WEAU members as they present and showcase their excellence and passion for the industry on the national stage. If you are presenting in any capacity at WEFTEC (in a technical session, workshop, on the expo floor, at a workforce HUB, etc.), please email Lauren ([email protected]) by next Tuesday, September 15th with the details. We will share a schedule with our membership that highlights where and when you can support WEAU members at WEFTEC. Stay tuned for that announcement and we look forward to connecting with everyone in NOLA!

Thank you!

Proposed Updates to WEAU Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws

The WEAU Board of Directors is proposing several updates to the Association's Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws for consideration by the membership.

The proposed amendments are intended to update and clarify the Association's governing documents, align them with current organizational practices, and improve consistency between the Articles and Bylaws. The changes include administrative updates, clarification of officer and board positions, updates to board succession and training roles, accommodation of electronic communications and voting practices, and other governance improvements. The amendments do not change the mission or purpose of WEAU.

In accordance with the WEAU Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, amendments must be approved by the membership. Members are encouraged to review the proposed amendments and cast their vote during the electronic voting period.

The complete proposed amendments are available for review below.

Voting will be conducted electronically August 24, 2026 through September 30, 2026 through ElectionRunner.com.  Ballots will be sent to the email address associated with each member’s WEF/WEAU membership.
